Early to bed early to rise

As it is always said 'EARLY TO BED EARLY TO RISE MAKES A PERSON HEALTHY WEALTHY AND WISE' It is very important for a child to go to bed early so that he/she doesn't face any problem in getting early for school.
Here are some ways by which you can help your child sleep at proper time at night.

-Having a consistent bedtime routine can be useful in giving the child cues that sleep time is coming. There are likely things that you do each night before bed, such as putting on pajamas, brushing teeth, reading bedtime story, nursing or rocking, and so on. Try to do those things in the same order to help your child understand what is coming next and learn to calm down through that process.

-Children need time to calm down and prepare for sleep. Create a calming environment during the bedtime routine. For example, turn off any bright lights you can switch on dim light. Television and loud noises should be turned off at least an hour before bedtime. You can build a massage time in the bed time routine.

-Lots of Fresh Air and Exercise is the single most important factor in determining how well your child will sleep at night. Let your kids go out and play as much as as they can. You can also increase the number of hours your children play outside, for example if your child is playing for two hours outside let them play for 3-4 hours. Take your child out to gardens, play with them, let them play on swings, go on several short trips, find places where they can do exercises. Our kids need that exercise and fresh air anyways, it is a good thing. It will help them in sleeping and also good for their health and keep your child strong.

-Diet play another role in your child's sleeping routine. But if you want to have a good sleeping pattern for your child then you must say no to food items like foods high in sugar, artificial colouring, preservatives, foods high in protein etc. Now Its time to replace these food items with those who promote good sleep like fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

-Reading bedtime stories to your kids is another way to make them sleep. Reading always helps in sleeping better. A story before bed makes for a peaceful transition from waking to sleep.

-The color that is painted on the walls will influence mood, thoughts and emotions. For the most soothing sleeping environment, choose a color that evokes calmness and relaxation in your child’s bedroom. The color plays an important role in your child's room. The colors like red, yellow, orange are very vibrant, they shows power and feeling of excitement. These colors indicate strength, power, excitement, joy. The bedroom should have the calm and cool colors like blue, brown, green white.. These colors are soothing and calm and helps us sleep faster. They lower the body temperature, relaxes our mind and body.
